Ramos wants Neymar to leave Barcelona: It would be less of a problem for us
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has admitted he wants Neymar to turn his back on Barcelona and make the switch the PSG this summer.
The Brazilian’s potential move is the talk of world football, with PSG determined to smash the world transfer record to bring their man to Paris.
When asked recently on his opinion regarding the saga, Ramos was upfront in admitting he hopes the 25-year-old moves on… as things will be much easier for Madrid as a result.
Speaking to reporters in the aftermath of Madrid’s recent pre-season clash with Barca in Miami, Ramos gave a diplomatic answer when asked about his thoughts on the future of Neymar.
‘I do not know, everyone is free to choose their future.
‘I hope [he leaves]. It would be less of a problem for us,’ Ramos added, as reported by Goal.
Despite the cloud firmly hanging over his future, Neymar has not allowed it to distract his game while out on the field.
The 25-year-old was impressive recently when Barca faced last season’s Champions League finalists Juventus with an incredible solo goal.
And the Brazilian shone once again on Saturday when Barca faced Ramos and Madrid in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.
The contest was the first time an El Clasico fixture had been played outside of Spain for 35-years, and Barca took the spoils with a 3-2 victory.
Gerard Pique sealed victory for the Catalans, but it was Neymar who would provide two of his side’s assists in a fixture which also saw Lionel Messi and Ivan Rakitic get among the goals.
